Terra Centre - Youth Leadership Programs

Terra offers two youth leadership programs:

• Peers Education Peers Program: an interactive presentation developed for junior and senior high schools, and any other interested audiences. A Terra facilitator and one or more Terra participants deliver the presentation. Terra participants who choose to be involved in PEP are trained in public speaking and coached in telling their story so they can help their peers learn from their personal teen parenting experience. The presentation demonstrates the realities and challenges of being a teen parent.
• Ambassadors Program: The Ambassador Program is a voluntary youth leadership program offered at Braemar School and is open to all Braemar students. The program is delivered by the Terra Youth Leadership Facilitator and supports young moms in gaining confidence and building strong, healthy relationships with their peers and partners.
