About this service
FOOD BANK: We collect food for the Edmonton Food Bank in the narthex of the church. We donated 88 kg of food to the food bank after our thanksgiving collection.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: This year we are providing four lunches for a Habitat for Humanity building crew. We try to supply healthy meals that will sustain the workers in hard physical labour.
PRAYERWORKS HALL: St. Faith's, an inner-city parish, has dedicated itself to providing meals for hungry people in the area, and to continue in that ministry they needed a new hall.
CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS: We are collecting specially marked Campbell Soup labels to help inner city schools.
OTHER: The parish supports the Inner City Pastoral Ministry (ICPM) by donating Christmas gifts. The Quilting group also makes quilts to be given to those in need. ICPM is an interdenominational Christian ministry of presence and partnership with the people of the inner city of Edmonton.
