About this service
For adults with cognitive/social/physical limitations who are living within the community.
Cost: $10 / per day of attendance (subsidized by AHS)
Admission based on assessment and referral from AHS
This rehab program is subsidized and clients are expected to be able to attend full registered day(s) and are continually assessed for improvement.
Services Offered:
- Nursing supervision
- Medication assistance
- Assessment by Occupational Therapist and one on one treatment as required
- Scheduled therapy program supervised by Therapist and Therapy Assistant; review of progress on a regular basis
- Physical therapy modalities offered are hot wax; cold pack; ultrasound; paraffin wax; muscle stimulation; TENS machines, walking program; general muscle strengthening; balance retraining; individual program treatment as needed.
- Assessment by multi-disciplinary team
- Structured level of physiotherapy or occupational therapy
- Foot care (fee applies)
- Personal care
