About this service

First launched in 1994, transportation services under the Transportation Program has been increasing in popularity every year since.

The program operates on pre-purchased tickets. (Tickets can be obtained through the office.) An $8 ticket is good for one 1.5 hour round trip ride or portion thereof. Members wishing to schedule rides must book them at least two business days in advance.

Note: Our drivers and vehicles can accommodate personal walkers but not wheelchairs.

Who Are Your Drivers?

SSCAS maintains a list of pre-screened drivers to transport and assist members to their appointments throughout Edmonton. Drivers are basically volunteers who are reimbursed for their gas expenses for the use of their vehicles.
