About this service
With an emphasis on prevention education, the Canadian Red Cross provides educational programs for children, youth and adults on preventing violence and abuse, including bullying prevention, promoting healthy youth relationships, and preventing child maltreatment.
Sexual abuse is when an adult, adolescent or older child uses a younger child or youth for his or her own sexual pleasure.
Sexual abuse can happen to both males and females, children and youth. It also includes exploitationtrafficking, prostitution and child sex abuse images (pornography).
