About this service
Provides outpatient assessment and treatment for issues such as musculoskeletal problems, post surgical or post fracture. Programs available for balance/fall prevention, osteoporosis, hand therapy.
Service includes:
- treatments to decrease pain (ultrasound, heat, ice, etc.)
- soft tissue massage and stretching for flexibility and movement
- strengthening exercises
- IMS (intramuscular stimulation), acupuncture
- education for self-care and management
- instruction for using walking aids correctly
- hand therapy
- access to occupational therapy
- referral to other programs as needed
