Mariam's Footsteps - Sibling Access or Court Ordered Services

Sibling Access: This program is designed to provide opportunities for sibling groups (with CFS status) to maintain connections with one another. This program focuses on reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors thereby increasing a familys ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and to facilitate the continuation of relationships and family connections.

The Court Ordered: Mariams Footsteps Inc. provides supported visitation and access services on a short or long-term basis for children from birth up to the age of seventeen years of age with their siblings (through CFS) or with their parent(s). This program provides opportunities for parents, by the order of the court to maintain relationships with their child(ren) through safe and supported accesses. Services through this program, on average, can remain in place for as long as needed but typically average approximately one (1) year, and visits occur, at minimum, once per week.
