About this service
The After-Hours Transportation (AHT) Program through Mariams Footsteps Inc. provides individuals and families with safe and reliable transportation this spans a variety of reasons such as ensuring that children, youth, and individuals have access to their community and families, providing persons served access to emergent transportation, facilitating transfers from Juvenile facilities to safe residencies and transport children and youth back to their caregivers during irregular office hours. Most of our service requests are local within Alberta, though Mariams Footsteps Inc. can provide AHT services (and travel) anywhere within Canada. The After-Hours Transportation Program provides the Edmonton region Child & Family Services authority with contracted services after general working hours and/or in the case of urgent needs whenever requested.
