About this service
Are you:
- A young female with or without children and/or currently pregnant
- Between 12-24 years old
- Facing youth criminal charges
Just-Us Girls can offer:
- Information on the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the youth justice system
- Guidance and support through the extrajudicial sanction process
- Ensuring your voice is heard within the court process
- Help with coordinating interaction between the youth justice system and community agencies
- Personal and community support during and beyond your criminal matter
You will have a Just-Us Girls mentor to support you when you need someone to talk to. You may want to connect over email, phone calls, or going out for coffee. She is there for you to support you through the process and aide you in the successful completion of your plan.
