About this service
Active participant in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery program which encourages active participation in the surgical experience.
Provides surgery for women including bladder repairs, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies (taking out the uterus).
Day surgery is offered for:
- tubal ligations (tying the fallopian tubes)
- hysteroscopies (using a camera to assess the uterus)
- laparoscopies (using a camera to assess organs through a small cut in the belly)
- dilation and curettage (widening and scraping the uterus)
