About this service

Supportive Independent Living (SIL) is designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injury, mental health concerns, physical disabilities and/or complex needs to move towards independent living.

Individuals suitable for the SIL programs include individuals with strong independent living skills and personal safety skills. Individuals would need to be safe home alone for short periods of time. Supportive Independent Living (SIL) individuals with mental health concerns who require support to remind them about their medications or require monitoring of mental health over time are also suitable for Supportive Independent Living (SIL) program.
