About this service
The Elizabeth Fry Society of Edmonton, in partnership with Alberta Justice and Solicitor General, operates the Visitation Centre (Centre 170) for the new Edmonton Remand Centre. The Centre uses videoconferencing technology to connect prisoners with their family members and friends. This technology makes visits safer and child friendly, and allows for more visits and longer visiting hours.
