About this service
Our English as Another Language (EAL) classes are delivered by instructors who are members of the Alberta Teachers as a Second Language (ATESL). Courses are run on a not-for-profit recovery basis, with a small fee being charged. Please note that our adult EAL classes do NOT provide childcare services.
Courses: English as Another Language (EAL) Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5
Our EAL courses are offered through three terms a year: Fall, Winter and Spring, at various locations in Edmonton. All EAL courses incorporate one or more of the following subjects:
- Adult Basic Literacy
- Health and Wellness
- Community and Personal Support
- Citizenship Education
- Human and Legal Rights
