About this service
This program consists of several homes, staffed with overnight staff and daytime staffing which is appropriate and applicable to the support needs of the individuals accessing services. The program and services provided are developed on an individual basis through the development of Individual Lifestyle Plans. As much as possible, peer matches are made to find compatible roommates for each person. The homes are based throughout Edmonton, and are designed for 3 or 4 Individuals living together. Community inclusion is emphasized by providing for community outings, recreational and leisure activities, and use of public transportation wherever possible. Currently there are 8 facilities in Edmonton, serving up to 26 Individuals.
