EHS - Surrender a Pet

We understand that surrendering a pet can be a difficult and emotional decision to make, and appreciate that you are doing what is best for your pet and your family.

All surrenders at the Edmonton Humane Society are done by appointment only. This way we can prepare for your pets arrival and ensure we have the space and resources available at our shelter to provide the best possible care. Please note that at this appointment we will require proof of ownership, or proof that you have the authority to surrender the dog on behalf of the owner.
