About this service
Helps people who have a chronic health condition or disability get basic medical aids and equipment. Community Aids to Independent Living (CAIL) is a team of healthcare providers working in the community to help people access basic medical supplies, aids and equipment that is primarily funded by the Alberta Aids to Daily Living program (AADL).
CAIL specializes in home safety assessments, providing education and equipment to maintain individuals safety and independence; Comprehensive Lower Leg Assessments, providing education about chronic venous insufficiency and lymphedema as well as aids for edema management; and clinical assessments to qualify for AADL medical surgical supplies such as incontinence, ostomy and catheter products.
