About this service
Make Tax Time Pay is a volunteer-based program that provides lower income individuals and families free income tax preparation and information on government benefits & subsidies. These include Goods & Services Tax Credit (GST), Canada Child Tax Benefit, City of Edmonton, Leisure Access Pass, Child care subsidies, Alberta Child Health Benefit, Alberta Adult Health Benefit, Information on Registered Education Savings Plans grants and Information on seniors benefits. This program sponsored by E4C, supports community sites throughout Edmonton. Community Options is proud to host these tax clinics on an annual basis in March and April at the St Peters Anglican Church. Appointments are necessary and can be made by contacting our office at (780) 455-1818.
Volunteer tax preparers and subsidy preparers are offered free training in return for a modest time commitment to the program.
