About this service

Chimo's Life Management Training Program is a unique client directed community-based program designed to train and support youth and young families to effectively manage their lives.

Training goals include:

  • Teaching and practicing self advocacy, communication and relationship skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Building support networks and identifying community resources
  • Skills related to living independently
  • Employment skills
  • Educating clients about lifestyle choices
  • Personal wellness
  • LMT Program Age/Eligibility:

Participants between the ages of 16-24 who require support in order to achieve their goals can apply. Childrens Services status is a requirement for this program.

Referrals:

Can be made by self-referral, social workers, schools, parents, youth shelters.
