About this service
CEASE hosts a Memorial each year around August 14 to remember those who have lost their lives as a result of sexual exploitation. Some were murdered; some took their own lives in despair; and some died as a result of addictions and disease. We also take a moment to remember and reflect on those who are missing. Friends and loved ones often feel alone due to the stigma attached to sexual exploitation. The Memorial offers a chance to gather as a community to remember and to support each other in a safe, comfortable, media free environment.
