Pediatric Neurosciences (nerves, nervous system, brain) evaluates, consults and manages infants, children, and adolescents with disorders of the central or peripheral nervous systems.
CASAs Pediatric Neurology Consultation services provides a neurological assessment to identify disorders in major categories such as:
Epilepsy and Seizures
Headache and Migraine
Neuromuscular Disease (muscles disease and movement disorders)
Complex Neurobehavioral Issues
Developmental Regression
nclusion Criteria
This is a referral-based service only. It is necessary to be previously seen and assessed by either a family physician who sees children or preferentially a pediatrician.
External Referrals
External referrals must be made by an AHS Psychiatrist.
Referrals can be made by completing the Pediatric Neurology Consultation Form and faxing to CASA at 780-435-6261.
