About this service
Our ACCESS enhanced program enables us to provide additional trained staff to ensure the healthy development of children in the community experiencing poverty.
- Ensures more than 2/3 of a childs daily nutritional requirements are met through the provision of breakfast, hot lunch and 2 daily snacks (served in the morning and afternoon)
- Are inclusive and can be accessed for children with disabilities through Alberta Education, Program Unit Funding, Resources for Children with Disabilities, CASA Speech and Language
- Occupational and psychological consultations are provided on site based on available resources
- Community connections/referrals link families to the appropriate community resources. Beverly Day Care Society & Family Resource Centre has strong relationships with the Food Bank, Social Services, Health Unit, Schools, Edmonton Police, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and the Northeast Community Centre which reinforces our belief that family support is integral to our programs
