About this service
Youth In Care is an inclusive youth mentoring program designed to give young people the confidence to achieve more. The Youth in Care Program pairs youth with positive, understanding adults who encourage them to find strength from within. Founded on the belief that people are empowered through consistent and supportive relationships, this program is focused on young people who have had involvement with Children Services and could be living in alternate arrangements such as Foster Homes, Group Homes or Kinship placements. There are two options for volunteers: 1) one-to-one, and 2) group.
Who can use it?
Mentees: Between 6 and 24 years old; Mentors: Anyone over 18
