About this service
All Saints Cathedral Parish has had a long standing relationship with the Inner City Pastoral Ministry on a Sunday with the Community of Emmanuel at the Bissell Centre. Twice a year we have the privilege of worshiping alongside the congregation as well as bringing, preparing, and serving a lunch with a partner church. For our volunteers it is a time to join with the community by sharing stories and worshiping together followed by serving a nutritious lunch. Our congregation has been generous in providing sandwiches, fresh fruit, vegetables and desserts.
Everyone who volunteers is changed and lifted up. The experience is truly a gift and by reaching out we can make a small step toward one of the Five Marks of Mission to respond to human need through loving service.
