About this service
The purpose of CAST is to provide support, assistance, advocacy and information to foster and kinship caregivers under assessment for allegations of abuse and/or non-compliance during the assessment process.
CAST Representatives are foster and kinship caregivers who have special training and knowledge about the process involved when an allegation is made.
CAST representatives are familiar with foster and kinship care policies, all kinds of assessments and the procedures that assessors will follow. They are committed to helping you work with assessors; they will provide support, clarify issues and ensure that you are provided with the information pertaining to your assessment and its results, in a reasonable length of time.
