About this service
Offers workshops to support people with chronic pain. Provides free workshops for people with chronic pain. Workshops are once a week for 2 hours for 6 weeks. Each person is loaned a workbook and CD with an exercise program. Adult family members and caregivers are welcome. Workshop topics include:
- managing your medications
- pacing yourself
- breathing
- managing sleep
- options for treatment
- dealing with difficult feelings
- healthy eating and staying active
- communicating with family members, friends, and healthcare providers
