About this service
AHEIA's youth seminars are designed to help young people develop the basic skills that will help them explore and enjoy the outdoors with confidence. They will practice archery, shooting, map & compass and survival skills. Wildlife identification and fishing are also offered to participants.The seminars are co-educational and are offered to students from ages 12 to 21. Many who attend these seminars teel us that this is their first outdoor experience! There are a variety of youth programs offered. These vary year to year but are primarily based out of the Alford Lake Conservation Education Centre for Excellence.
