About this organization
Shepherds Care Vanguard is nestled in the quiet community of Westwood in north Edmonton. Built in 2011, Vanguard is a beautiful 115-unit, multi-level, aging in place building. Adjacent to Christian ministry college, Vanguard College, residents experience the energetic environment of the College and students. We work with the College to offer multi-generational and student programming including Tuesday student lunches.
Our beautiful fenced courtyard has a barbeque area, seating and is wheelchair accessible, offering a safe area for residents to enjoy the outdoors. Vanguard is next to public parks and a community hall, as well as located on bus routes and just off major thoroughfares making it easily accessible.
Pastoral care services are available to all residents. Church services and bible studies are held on-site throughout the week.
