About this organization
Project SEVFIN is a holistic program that utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to best serve the needs of the highest barriered clients. We offer start dates every seven weeks with continuous intake. Our program will operate in a trauma-informed environment where we recognize the symptoms of trauma, understand the impact of past trauma on an individuals life and coping skills and we incorporate this understanding into our practices. The outcome goal of our clients is to increase self-confidence and reduce skill gaps. We will assist them to attach to the labour market through employment placement and/or education attainment.
Our component programming will be supplemented by the following:
- One-on-one counselling sessions
- Stabilizing assessments, evaluations and referral supports from Morag Mclean (RN)
- Medicalized stabilization assessment and evaluations by a prescribing pharmacist
- Elder support
- Addictions counseling on site
- Seeking Safety program that addresses addictions and trauma
- Empower U
