About this organization
Adult Day Support Programs provide wellness services for individuals who live in the community and require a structured support program. Day programs provide social interaction, promote the individual's independence and provide respite for their caregivers.
Programming includes:
- recreational activities
- meals and snacks
- family and client education and support
- reminders to take prescribed medications
Transportation may be available through Disabled Adult Transportation Service (DATS) or Strathcona County Mobility Bus. Participants are responsible for costs. Families are encouraged to provide transportation when possible.
For veterans and non-veterans with physical, emotional and/or social limitations who are 55 years and older.
Programming includes spiritual care as well as an exercise component.
