About this service
This group utilizes skills and philosophy of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and is to help family members living with someone with emotional or behavioural dysregulation. It is part psychoeducational, learning about the challenges and recovery of people with emotional dysregulation, part skill building to help families themselves learn skills to better cope and manage this stressful circumstance, communicate more effectively and to heal relational injuries that may have occurred. It is also a support group for families to gain the emotional support to help recover and grow. This group is most effective when the loved one is also involved with DBT treatment.
When: This group runs twice a year depending on demand
Cost: $75/group (up to 2 family members can attend)
Length: 12 Weeks
