About this organization
The Cochrane Society for Housing Options provides access to range of affordable housing in Cochrane and surrounding area.
We do this by:
- Providing the local affordable rental housing program on behalf of the Municipality
- Advocating for a full range of housing in the Cochrane Community
- Providing community education on housing related topics
- Owning and operating Home Reno Heaven and partnering with Trans-Continental Textiles to raise funds to provide housing related programs and services.
Increasing the supply and providing a full range of safe, suitable and affordable housing is an issue that impacts many aspects of community sustainability and requires the collaborative efforts of multiple stakeholders.
Cochrane Society for Housing Options is grateful for the support received from many individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, funders, and Federal, Provincial and Municipal Government in helping to address this significant community issue.
