Prairie Winds is a Clubhouse that provides an opportunity for people living with mental illness to regain confidence, to develop skills and to build meaningful supportive relationships. With this kind of support, men and women diagnosed with mental illness can work and become participating members of their community
At Prairie Winds, we believe that:
- All people with a psychiatric diagnosis have capabilities, talents and strengths they can utilize.
- Work, whether in the Clubhouse or in the community, is a healthy and important ingredient in wellness.
- All people have the need to socialize and interact with others. The Clubhouse offeres this opportunity.
