About this service
Chestermere Food Bank's Bread & Extras program is aimed at assisting families with minimal food needs, providing bread and other excess food items with no questions asked. The program operates on a drop-in basis with two time slots available each week, every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Participants are required to bring their own bags, and the food bank does not offer a home delivery service for this program. The food bank receives donations of bakery items from the Chestermere COBS End of Day program and fresh and frozen goods from Poplar Bluff Organics, Food Mesh, and Second Harvest food rescue programs.
