Camrose Family Resource Centre - Parent Education

Supporting parents and caregivers to be more effective in their parenting journey of children and youth aged 0-18 years of age, is the goal of the Parent Education program. We promote the use of positive parenting practices such as positive language, family routines and increasing knowledge of child development and communication styles.

One of the programs we use is the Triple P program. Triple P is an evidence based program that provides parents and caregivers the skills they need to support their parenting. This programs is for parents and caregivers of children 0-12, teens and with a disability to learn positive strategies to manage mild to moderate behaviours.
