About this service
Our Youth Mentor Program is a members only program for youth in grades 6 through 8. This program offers its members opportunities to receive training and certification on related topics (mentorship, safety, personal growth). Youth learn more about self and increase their self esteem, communication and leadership skills. They plan and participate in special activities, special events, outings and celebrations with like-minded peers. They also give back to community and participate in fundraising activities. They work alongside our team as a volunteer/positive role model in our Kid Way Program through planning and participating in fun activities with younger members. This program helps youth further develop employability skills and enhance their resumes. Finally youth attend a regional leadership camp every spring.
