Different models of homes provide a range of support tailored to the individual's needs. This can range from low needs (less than 10 hours per week) to high needs (24 hours per day, 7 days per week). Each support home undergoes a formalized approval process and ongoing monitoring to ensure continuing standards of support, quality of life, and safety are being met. As individuals enter or change models within this service, engagement in choosing the new home is a critical aspect of our practice. Ensuring that individuals, their families, and guardians are contributors in the decision making process encourages stability, accountability and independence.
