About this service
Hera is a specialized year-round education program for female youth ages 13 to 17 who are at risk of or are currently experiencing sexual exploitation. We embrace a therapeutic, relationship-focused approach to help youth develop skills, commit to education and move forward in a positive direction.
The program provides:
- An academic classroom with learning supports;
- Focused education around sexual exploitation;
- Experiential learning opportunities;
- In-home family support;
- Mentorship opportunities;
- Support and connection to community resources;
- Referrals and access to therapy.
