About this service
We provide information, navigation, and support to all individuals, families, and professionals impacted by autism. It also coordinates a series of public workshops focused on timely topics relating to the transition to adulthood, and it supports a number of community-based outreach activities.
Ambassadors who staff the Resource Centre are knowledgeable about autism and can provide accurate information and navigation to a wide variety of community-based resources. Families and individuals frequently comment that when faced with an overwhelming diagnosis like autism they truly appreciate the one-on-one personal connection.
The collection of physical resources includes Tip Sheets on common autism-related issues, workshops offered throughout the year, books, and brochures. Our lending library is cost-free and covers an extensive range of topics and ages, all carefully selected to offer credible information.
