Silver Linings - Parent/Loved one Support Workshop

If someone you love and care for is struggling with an eating disorder, you are not alone and we would like to help support you.

We offer a 4-week workshop for parents and loved ones coping with the many challenges of caring for someone they love with an eating disorder. These 2-hour sessions with an experienced eating disorder therapist in a small group setting will allow participants to learn and share but also to cover topics or questions that are specific to their own situation.

Topics may include:

• skills to help support their loved one,
• peer support and techniques for self-care during stressful times,
• a deeper understanding of eating disorders, and
• share experiences, challenges, successes, strategies and ideas with others facing similar struggles and with an experienced therapist.
