About this service
In partnership with Corrections Canada, our parole program provides residency for 4 parolee women coming from correctional institutions.
Staff provides additional monitoring of behaviors, actions, and whereabouts of each parolee within the community.
The parole program allows the women to gain confidence and acknowledge that they can be successful in a life without crime. The program offers the supports to the women as they successfully transition from their time in a penitentiary to living in the community of their choosing.
This program is provided to women 18+ who have just been released from a correctional facility. Women wishing to apply for the parolee program must do so through the Parole Board. Their application would be reviewed to ensure they meet the required criteria (not a high risk offender and must demonstrate through courses and programs that they are working towards a better future).
