About this service
This Centre opened in September 2003 with a design that is innovative and practical. Shortly after the opening, a plan was underway to add an addition that provides three elementary classrooms to service students in the south of the city. The Centre opened with five ECS classrooms servicing children 2.5 5 years of age.
PROGRAMS
The following are available at the Thomas W. Buchanan Centre:
- Integrated Services for Children with Motor Disabilities (ISMD)
- Specialized Services for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (SAS)
- Elementary Education Program
- Early Childhood Services (ECS)
