About this service
At Positive Choices Counselling, we believe that despite separation and or divorce, children benefit from having both parents in their lives. We use a family centered approach which allows children to build and maintain strong relationships with the people in their lives. We have experience working with high conflict families, high risk families with a history of family violence, as well as specific training on child development and healthy parenting. We offer visitation services in the home, community, our office family room, or remotely via audio or video chat. Our visits create a safe and comfortable environment that supports and promotes the parent child relationship. We aim to support diversity, therefore we offer visits in various languages and ethnically diverse supervisors. All our visit supervisors are registered social workers or have a human services background.
