About this service
Journeys is for women who are pregnant and/ or have a child and addiction concerns. Journeys serves women who live in Calgary or the direct surrounding areas.
This innovative program is offered in partnership with Aventa Centre for Excellence for Women with Addictions and is designed to increase successful completion of treatment and prevent relapse. The Journeys Program combines professional treatment services with empowering a network of family and friends committed to supporting the recovery process.
Women in the program will:
- Develop a customized plan to support their recovery
- Receive professional treatment services
- Build healthier relationships with their family and friends committed to supporting recovery
- Access additional community resources and supports
To enroll in the program, individuals must apply for treatment services at Aventa.
