About this service
Provides repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy to treat people with mood disorders when other treatments are not working.
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) therapy sends small electrical currents to parts of the brain. The therapy does not cause people to pass out and does not affect their memory. rTMS is mainly used to treat people with depression who are not feeling better after trying other treatments (antidepressant medicines or cognitive behavioral therapy and other psychotherapy).
