About this service
The Taking Control Wellness Program is specifically designed for adults who are ready and willing to confront their epilepsy and become an active participant in minimizing its impact and working towards an optimal level of health and wellness.
You are the centre of everything in this health-promotion approach. Weve designed the program to consider your entire being and created 12 guidelines based on the Andrews Reiter Epilepsy Research Program that provides a step-by-step approach to understanding and controlling your condition.
Our goal is to empower and enrich your life by providing you with the tools like understanding and using triggers, aura and stress relief to control seizures to live a healthy and happy life. While it may not be possible to take control of all forms of epilepsy all the time, it is possible to reduce the negative effects of living with epilepsy and to enjoy the positive effects of increased self-esteem and overall wellness.
