About this service
A stable home is essential for women who are making a fresh start.
The Elizabeth Fry Society of Calgary works in partnership with Calgary community agencies
to provide safe, affordable housing for women.
We also welcome the opportunity to work with local landlords who have affordable housing where our clients can be reunited with their families and live together under one roof. Having a home where their children can visit or live permanently is an imperative factor in successful integration into the community.
Stable housing is where families can be restored. It is also essential that housing is accessible and near public transportation and amenities, such as grocery stores and businesses where there is potential for employment options.
