About this service
The Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta (EDSNA) is a registered charity that provides support to those impacted by eating disorders and raises awareness about this complex and often misunderstood illness. EDSNA's website (www.EDSNA.ca) provides a provincial hub for information about treatment options, supports available in Alberta, and an abundance of resources. EDSNA offers professionally-facilitated, low cost, support groups to people with eating disorders (18+) in Edmonton, Calgary and online via video conference. For parents, partners and loved ones, we offer an 8-week educational series and 2-day intensive skills based workshops to build capacity in caregivers. As well, we offer workshops, conferences and presentations for healthcare professionals, educators, fitness instructors and members of the public.
