About this service
The Early Development Centres (EDC) supports pre-school children who have been identified with severe delays/disabilities. These may be delays in speech and language, social, emotional, or behavioral development, and/or physical/medical development. Through play in a language-rich environment, we are able to better prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. Early intervention support is partially funded through Alberta Educations Program Unit Funding (PUF). Family Oriented Programming is offered to all families enrolled in EDC and provides opportunities for families and children with exceptional needs to learn together and support their childs ongoing development.
Our program at Rosscarrock School offers transportation services for a variety of communities from Crestmont east to University, south to Discovery Ridge, Lakeview, Meadowlark Park and east to Inglewood.
Please contact Sandi Harrower, Early Learning Specialist at 403-817-7612 for more information.
