About this service
Going to a new school when you are unfamiliar with the environment, and see no familiar faces, can be a very scary experience for young children. This program matches Canadian students and newcomer students within a school setting, by introducing them to the school, helping them meet new friends, and making them feel comfortable. Most often, the Canadian student is the first friend the newcomer student has in Canada. Currently, this program is offered at Holy Redeemer Elementary School.
