Volunteer contributions are an invaluable source of support and strength in providing quality sexual abuse and sexual assault services. Whether through the expertise and commitment of those who serve on the Board of Directors, the skills and energy of its front-line volunteers, or community fundraisers and consultants, volunteers represent strong connections between CCASA and the Calgary community. We believe volunteer satisfaction is a measure of the agencys success.
Volunteers are essential to the high quality of service delivery CCASA offers. Volunteers make a contribution in helping to raise awareness about the issue of sexual abuse and sexual assault to communities in Calgary and surrounding area. CCASA volunteers make a real difference in the lives of those affected by the various forms of sexual violence.
Prior to becoming a volunteer for our organization, you will be required to complete a child welfare and police security clearance form, and 20 hours of specialized training.
